Rossi is one of five riders who will be taking part in a night time test session on November 12th. Loris Capirossi will also be riding, and Dani Pedroso, Marco Melandri and Anthony West are expected to appear.
As part of the test, a section of the track will be covered in water to see how bikes on the track would cope in wet conditions. Obviously, Doha has learnt to expect the unexpected after last years surprising wet Asian Games!
The test is ahead of plans to hold a night time race next February when the Moto GP returns to Qatar. In order to make this possible, nearly 4000 separate floodlights are being installed round the track.
